2. How much do I need to deposit to start copy trading?
The minimum deposit is $3 USD using direct crypto deposit. To copy a lead trader, you’ll need at least $100 USDC on Arbitrum, this ensures there’s enough capital allocated to follow their trades effectively.
3. My Deposit did't land on Coinpilot?
If you have deposited USDT on Arbitrum or USDC from other networks to your Coinpilot wallet.
Here’s what you can do:
You can export the private key of your Coinpilot wallet from the app. Here's the step-by-step guidance to export the private key on Conipilot: Export Keys.
Then import that wallet into MetaMask (or any compatible wallet) to view your assets directly, you should see the USDT or USDC on other network there.,
Once confirmed, we recommend swapping the USDT to USDC (Arbitrum) and then redepositing to continue using Coinpilot normally.
4. Where does the money go if I close a position manually or via SL/TP?
The realized PnL (profit or loss) is added back into your Balance for that trader.
That Balance will then be used automatically for the trader’s future trades as long as you keep copying.
If you stop copying, the Balance (including all PnL) is returned to your Crypto Balance.
5. Why didn’t my trade go through?
Sometimes trades are skipped. Reasons may include:
Position size below Hyperliquid’s $10 minimum (Coinpilot now bundles small balances together until they reach 10 USDC, then executes)
Entry outside the 0% ~ 10% rule if you have the "Copy all existing positions" toggled off (default). When toggled off, Coinpilot only copies existing positions that are within the following price range of the lead trader’s entry price:
If your lead trader’s position is Long: Your copy will only execute if the current market price is between –10% and 0% of the trader’s entry.
If your lead trader’s position is Short: Your copy will only execute if the current market price is between 0% and +10% of the trader’s entry.

6. Can I copy multiple traders?
Yes, you can copy up to 9 traders in parallel on Hyperliquid (and Polymarket).
7. Can I stop copying anytime?
Yes. You can check your portfolio and stop copying from your Profile page.
8. What happens if the lead trader adds margin or deposits more funds?
If the trader adds more to an existing position (to reduce leverage or improve liquidation price):
Nothing changes on the your side, Coinpilot does not mirror margin adjustments that don’t involve new trades.
If the trader increases their position by buying more of the same asset using additional margin:
You, as a follower to this lead trader, will copy this as a new trade, with the added margin scaled proportionally to your portfolio size.
If the trader deposits more funds into their wallet:
This does not affect your current copied positions. However, future trades (including scaled entries) will reflect the lead trader’s increased balance and be copied accordingly based on your allocation.
